Wife. Mom.
I love good food, good cocktails, sports, reality TV, and traveling.
I’m an oncologist and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Yes, even after 4 years of college, 4 years of med school, and 5 years of residency…
Somewhere along the way, I discovered design blogs. I have always loved design and DIY. When I was nine, my mom let me design my bedroom- it was Laura Ashley’s green ivy themed. LOL.
Now, I feed the left side of my brain during the day. At night and on weekends however, the right side runs free!
Native Texan, now living the good life in the Texas Hill Country. I have lived in some of the largest cities in America; I now realize I most love living the small town life.
Thanks for reading.

Hi, You seem great and have some really beautiful photography. Come by some time and see if you are a match for our photography group/online gallery. The tie that binds is that the photographers have all experienced at some point or been touched by depression or another mental health issue. If it is a fit, we would welcome a submission from you!
Just found your blog today, via the vespa tag, and after viewing around a bit, I believe following is a must! You have some really great posts that I look forward to catching up with. Great sense of style!! = )
Hi Celine,
My name is James.
I live in Arizona and I am wanting to put white tile (porcelain) in my backyard patio.
I searched on Google for examples in Arizona and came across a blog with your backyard.

It is beautiful!
I had a couple of questions regarding your white tiles:
-Does the bright Arizona sun reflect too much off of the white tile?
-Do the tiles heat up too much? Or are they able to be walked on barefoot during the summer?
-Have you had any issues regarding wear and tear or maintenance with the tiles?
-If you were to do the patio again, would you still choose white tile? Maybe a different material?
