If you’re still reading, God Bless you. It’s been a crazy few weeks, I missed last week’s update completely, but here we are at the finish line of this One Room Challenge.
Bad news- I have no final reveal pics.
First, look at where we started!!
Good news- I have some okay iPhone pics that really don’t do it justice.
It feels like a very cute and quaint European country kitchen…exactly what I wanted in the middle of Texas Wine Country.
We removed the uppers.
The lowers were painted with Valspar’s Cottage Door.
The tile countertops were switched out for leathered absolute black granite.
This amazing porcelain tile from Tile Bar added such a great pattern to contrast with the cabinets.
The fluorescent light was replaced by a glass fixture from Amazon.
It’s a perfect little kitchen to pop a bottle of champagne in…which is what I’m going to do right now!!

You got so much done in such a short amount of time! You’ve given me hope for our kitchen renovation. I love the combination of the leathered black granite with the floor tile and blue cabinets. Job well done!
What a transformation! I love the black and blue combo. We also had a weird low bar like yours in our kitchen that we ripped out!
